As part of the newly established Bridgend Economic Taskforce the council are leading on a Business Engagement Programme. We are surveying businesses across Bridgend County Borough to assess the impact on the local economy from Covid-19 and the UK leaving the EU.


There has been an unprecedented amount of support and contact to the local business community since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic from a range of organisations including:



The Bridgend Economic Taskforce want to understand the main issues businesses are facing in the current situation, future aspirations and ideas on possible areas of support going forward.


The findings of this research will be used to develop an economic plan, which will feature actions to help businesses adapt to the changing economic landscape, support them in their recovery, improve their resilience and deliver new opportunities for training, skills and employment as well as new business.

Information provided by you on this form will be used to develop strategies to support businesses.


The council will take all reasonable precautions to ensure confidentiality and to comply with data protection legislation. Your information may be shared with members of the Bridgend Economic Taskforce for the purposes of creating an economic plan, which will feature actions to help businesses adapt to the changing economic landscape, support them in their recovery, improve their resilience and deliver new opportunities for training, skills and employment as well as new business. Your information will be retained in accordance with the Council’s Data Retention Policy.
